I have a megane convertible which has electric roof disconnected i use the roof manually this works for me but you may have cables connected that prevent it working for you before you follow the below check in the boot at the passenger side pull back black fabric cover you can see the hood pump mechanism and see if the hydraulic fluid is low if level is ok it could be a pump issue so you could try what i do to close mine.
