Once you have safely gotten to the broken tile.
Replace broken tile on roof.
Only do this if you know it can be done safely using a stable ladder and perhaps even using.
One important tip when replacing any broken tiles or slates is this always try to get a colour match if possible.
Ensure you have the correct replacement tile as there are many different roof tiles on the market.
If the broken tile had once been nailed to the wood batten make sure you seal the hole under the tile before replacing it.
