Flame spread index of 75 and smoke development 450 meet code requirements for foam plastic roof insulation. Densdeck roof boards are fm tested and approved as the only 1 2 gypsum product to meet the calorimeter requirements for conventionally insulated decks. In this application the cover board provides a fire barrier in the case of an internal fire. The material is durable and provides superior impact and puncture resistance.
