You see it is only the surface that is discoloured under that it is as good as new.
Restoring faded brown guttering.
A 4m length of guttering can expand contract over 25mm in length in different temperatures.
All surfaces must be clean dry and free of dirt grease grime and mildew.

You can use a paint brush or foam brush.

Let dry and check that all the oxidation is removed.
Paint hydrogen peroxide cream over the faded or discolored area.
Should be completely and thoroughly removed.
Treat any mildew with a 50 50 bleach and water solution.
Take it all down and turn it round you will see that it is not faded.
Scrub the solution on to the surface and allow it to stand for 10 15 minutes then rinse thoroughly.

Wearing rubber gloves use a grout sponge to clean and wash the gutters thoroughly with the soapy mixture.
Then brush an even layer of the cream over the area.
Rinse well with plain water.

A paint has to be pretty darn flexible to cope with that.
