I now have side windows lockable and all barrels working with one key.

Now i just need the back sliding window lock. Well i am not spending 300 on new door latches let s fix em up. You can drill a hole in the metal plate behing the door card to gain easier access to the screw. In which paul says you have to insert the key in the lock and turn the key until you can see the brass pin then depress the pin and wiggle the key in the lock to remove the barrel.

Line it up and it will make things a 100 times easier. The brasss pin locates in a groove inside the lock assembly and stops the barrel falling out i ll give it another go i ve probably not been using enough pressure. I ve got a 85 series 3 109 military spec and want to replace the front door locks. Note that actuators themselves are door specific and installation process. I ve removed the lock in it s entirety from the door but don t know where to go next. I ve already bought replacement barrels and changed the rear door lock successfully but i can t figure out how to remove the barrels from the front doors. Push plastic bit on new barrel and insert back into door handle screw that other plastic bit back on with the metal rod attached in the orientation it came off.
